The passion of a King…
To walk the greens of Dar Es Salam is to taste the privilege of playing in a country which has known how to combine the beauty of its natural sites and the technicality of the world’s best golf courses.
Golf has existed in the Kingdom since the beginning of the 20th century, but it is under the will of the King Hassan II, a real enthusiast, that it took on all its splendor. During his reign this noble sport became a true Moroccan tradition.
It is in 1971 that his Majesty the King Hassan II gave to the capital of Morocco a sporting complex dedicated to golf, an ambitious project laid out in great detail with its technical qualities, well designed structures and elegant atmosphere.
The Golf of Dar Es Salam has now become the heart of golf nationwide.
In the footsteps of his father, his Majesty King Mohamed VI continues to support and promote this sport with the help of his Royal Highness Moulay Rachid, also very well known for his efforts to develop the game of golf in Morocco.
