Jazzablanca: Casablanca’s Premier Jazz Festival and Cultural Melting Pot

The Festival Jazzablanca was founded in 2006 by the A3 Communication Group with the aim of introducing and promoting jazz music to a broader audience in Morocco, particularly in the vibrant city of Casablanca. The festival has evolved to become a significant cultural event in the city, celebrating jazz music and its many influences. It not only features traditional jazz but also explores a wide range of genres such as blues, soul, funk, and world music, attracting both local and international artists and enthusiasts.

Initially starting as a modest event, the festival has grown significantly in size and reputation. Over the years, Jazzablanca has hosted renowned artists such as Maceo Parker, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Joss Stone, and Charles Pasi, along with many emerging talents from around the globe. This mix of established and up-and-coming musicians makes the festival a dynamic and exciting event for attendees.

The Festival Jazzablanca is typically held in July each year. The 2024 edition of the festival is scheduled for July 19-23. During these five days, the festival takes over various venues across Casablanca, including the iconic Anfa Park and the Casablanca Hippodrome, offering a diverse array of concerts, workshops, and jam sessions.
